We offer FREE shipping on all orders over: €150 / Fr.150 / £150

For orders where the total value is less than the above amounts, different costs will apply for our SUSTAINABLE and EXPRESS shipping options. The options available to you will be displayed during the checkout process, after you’ve provided your shipping details. Please note that should you subsequently request a return, any shipping fees paid for your original order will be non-refundable.

Customs Duties & VAT

Unlike many other brands, we pay any customs duties, handling fees, and VAT, for deliveries outside the EU, meaning that the price of your order is the final price that you’ll pay, and you will NOT be stung with any extra hidden costs on delivery!

Returns & Refunds

Please note that unless we say otherwise:

THE COST OF RETURN SHIPPING IS Fr.17.99 (OR EQUIVALENT) FOR ALL CUSTOMERS

In order to simplify the returns process to the greatest extent possible, our returns portal will allow you to generate a printable DHL shipping label for your return. The cost of your return will be subtracted from your refund, therefore no extra purchase is required. You will then need to simply affix the shipping label to the outside of your return package, and drop the package at a DHL Service Point.

Depending on where you’re located, your return may take a while to reach our warehouse in the Czech Republic (potentially up to 3 weeks), and especially if your return is coming from outside the EU and needs to clear Czech customs.

If you’re not satisfied with a product that you’ve purchased from us, or you’ve bought the wrong size, and provided that the product in question is in ‘as new’ condition (i.e. unused, undamaged, and still with all of its tags on), you may return such a product to us for a refund, within 30 days of receiving your order.

Dry cleaning & preservation of waterproofing

We strongly recommend that this product should be dry cleaned by a dry cleaner that offers a specialist (ski) outerwear dry cleaning service. This will ensure that the product both retains its waterproofing, and that its colours remain bright.

Alternatively, this product may be washed using a combination of Nikwax® Tech Wash and Nikwax® TX Direct Wash-In (or similar professional outerwear cleaning and waterproofing agents), which are available from many outdoor apparel retailers and online. Please carefully follow the instructions which come with these cleaning agents.

Please note that any damage to this product which occurs as a result of washing the product will be considered to be beyond our control and not covered by our 2 year limited warranty, and we will not replace the product or refund you for it in such an event.

Drying

Dry this product on a clothes rack or clothes hanger.

What not to do

Please don’t wash this product using everyday household detergents, since these will damage the waterproofing, and may cause other unforeseen issues. Also, please don’t iron or tumble dry this product.

We’ve calculated that the total carbon footprint of a single pair of Valdez Pro Pants 1.0 is 41.51kg of CO2, which in monetary terms is €0.46.

We also plant a tree in the tropics in Uganda with every single online and offline order, which supports reforestation and carbon sequestration.

We work on the assumption that every tree that we plant will live for 5 years and absorb 63.3kg of CO2 during that period.
