MGG’s new short film 日本のどこかで【NIHON NO DOKOKA DE】“SOMEWHERE IN JAPAN” explores the bleak, otherworldly face of Japan in mid-Winter, far away from the sensory overload that this eye-opening country has become so well known for.

MGG co-founder Charlie Cazalet has been a regular visitor to Japan for the past decade, and as a photographer and sometimes filmmaker, he’d always wanted to capture his own interpretation of what it’s like to live and travel by RV in such an unforgiving and often isolated environment.
With MGG ambassador and former professional freeskier Ruben Principe by his side back in January, the two encountered some of the deepest conditions seen in many years, and this short film is testament to an obsession which can only ever be satisfied... somewhere in Japan.
